I have part of my weekly organic veg delivery, the potatoes, sprouting enthusiastically in my veg rack. Can I plant them and get a crop. After slug damage last year I didn't plant seed potatoes so I have a bit of room left in the veg plot.

you shouldn't but alot do including myself so time it's the only way to get certain varieties, Exquisa being one I've planted at least 4 'shop' brought varieties this year
