billathome65 Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 I have spent the morning cleaning out the chucks and found lots of juicy snails taking up residence in my veg patch. Being such a caring guy I decided to introduce them along with a couple of slugs to my ladies I then set about weeding and thinning out the tomatoes so the chucks have had a good helping of meat and veg this morning. bouldercroft Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 a similar thing.... I noticed that one of my compost bin lids was covered in lots of little caterpillars. It was late and the girls were thinking of turning in for the night but they quickly changed their mind and gobbled the whole lot up! hubby just rolled his eyes and said 'it's getting dark - are you really going to wait for them to eat them all' Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
