laurmurf
We've had several attempts at hatching this year - not all very successful. first one was a mix of bantams eggs off ebay - Barbu D'anvers and Transylvanian Naked Necks and Welsummers - the whole hatch was a disaster. We had more joy with the second - collected really high quality eggs off a top bloke in eggs showing and managed to hatch 11 out of 12 Welsummers. !0 were from dark egg laying welsummers and 2 were from show welsummers . The third hatch wasn't great - a dozen very expensive TNN bantam eggs. they candled 9 clear or undeveloped at day 10. Then 2 out of remaining 3 hatched. A lovely blue and lovely black TNN bantams - pics to follow.
Plum
Congratulations Laurie but dissapointment about the ones you lost. I take it TNNs are a bit of an art to hatch anyway, look forword to seeing naked chicks Those welsummer chicks are just so cute
