Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

I finally got my 4 gingernuts yesterday, and am sooo happy with them!

There's only 3 in the pic as one was hiding for a bit when we first got them home. We've decided on the names Betty, Maggie, Peppa and Suzie.

They are lovely and remind me of mine that I had.

I had 2 gingernut rangers before, and one was slightly darker than the other but it was my visiting sister who spotted that difference.

Now I have 3 dottes who, although 2 are the same breed, they all look the same, but the breeder kindly put leg rings on them.

I've been going out to them today in between rain showers and have noticed that one of them has a slightly different beak to the others so I think that this one with be Betty (Betty the Beak) Also, one of ours looks slightly lighter in colour to the others, not sure what name to give to this one yet though!

 

Are the leg rings ok for them to wear?
