Poorly chicken

We currently have constructed a run from chicken netting and posts from Omlet but would like to have a more secure run for them and I wonder if anyone knows where I can buy a run which includes the Omlet cube port and would be about 10 metres long and 2 metres wide. I see there is a company Aviaries4U but I wonder if there is anywhere more local as I live in Hampshire. I am not good at DIY and my husband is very busy at work. Omlet only supplies 1m run extensions.

Hi, and welcome to the forum! Have you had a look in the Eglus, Cubes and Runs section? There is a lot of information about WIRs there, including details of various companies that build them.

Yes thanks and I have spoken to Omlet staff but the runs are not long enough or big enough.

If you can get a WIR delivered, you could hire a local joiner to put it together for you . It would be a very simple job for them. Some people say that they are really easy to put together yourself but I'm also useless at DIY and ended up getting a friend to do it .

FYI - Avaries4U don't deliver over 150 miles

 

I'm now using Bay Animal Housing - based in Morecambe but they do all over the UK and Europe - build for RSPCA too

 

I've designed my own to fit where it has to go.............they do bespoke as well as 'normal' sizes etc
