Cheaky chook, I'm thinking you can read my mind! Unfortunately, I think if I did have some silkies and they were noisy, it would make me really paranoid and make me not enjoy them as much They are so lovely though. So I immediately though about some orpingtons! I think I just like soft things

Orps are WONDERFUL beings. I don't have any but one day You don't have to have just buff ones either. I think they come in several colours. Apparently they are the 'labs' of the chook world - big, cuddly softies.
