Sam
Hello, sorry not sure if where to post this! How much do second hand cubes go for? I've been on ebay and only seen 1 sell without a run for £437. There aren't many that sell without a run so I think I'll be waiting some time, but I want to know how much the prices vary so I don't get ripped off! Thanks for any help
Olly
If you go to the 'advanced search' on eBay, you can see 'sold' items as well, and that might give you a guide. They sell for whatever people are prepared to pay for them, and as noted elsewhere on the forum, people sometimes pay more on eBay than they would if they bought something new. daxigirl
I found my and standard run in the freeads locally for £325, so couldn't let it pass me by but I think that it's a rare to get one so low these days. Keep your eyes peeled.
scarlettohara
I'd look on Gumtree, Preloved etc as well - not everyone wants to pay the commission on ebay
Sam
Olly - Yes I've tried that but there is only one there without a run, the one which went for £437... I think I may be waiting sometime!! Daxigirl & scarlettohara - I think freeads gumtree etc are the best places to buy them, but I keep looking and can never find one! But if I find one for £325, I will snap that straight up!! Bargain! Thanks for the replies
daxigirl
Also don't be afraid to buy the older style, there's not much difference, the bars can be changed, the run door may be the small style and it could be a little faded but again they'll all fade. Also try entering all the variations of omlet, eglu, egglu, egloo, cube etc as spelling isn't always a strong point. You may also have picked the wrong time of year to be looking for a bargain, the winter may be a better time.
