Sorry if this is a silly question, but have been reading lots about run sizes. Not sure if I have my square metres and metres squared mixed up (never was any good at maths!) but the 2m cube run is advertised as being suitable for 6 chickens. Originally bought that, but it seemed small and realised we could squeeze another metre in, so bought the extension. Now have 5 ex batts living quite happily, fr each day from 4 ish until 7 or 8pm, but is the run technically suitable? I wouldn't have the 10 chickens it seems to say would be ok.

No I wouldn't its the house not the run that's suitable for that number

If you have a Cube with an extension that should be fine for five chooks, especially if they get a bit of F/R. I used to have five in this set-up - why not put some branches in so they can use the height of the run as well.

Not wanting to criticise omlet, as I am really pleased with the cube, but when I checked the website it does say cube with 3m run is suitable for 10 and on the chart on the site it says is suitable for 8.
