We have had our Sussex bantams for a couple of weeks now. The eldest is 18 weeks old and i was wondering how old they are when they start laying? I have read several different things...one said 18 weeks and one said 24 weeks!

We love them regardless, but we are curious to know when !egg!'s might appear!

Look for the clues: You will see their combs and face gear redden up, they should start to squat and start showing an interest in the nest box. It could be anytime soon

I have noticed their faces and combs are a deeper colour than when we got them......No squatting yet though!
