coco
I have two 12 week old pekins, one is definately a cockerel and has just started crowing but I'm not sure about the other one. He/she has a pinky reddish comb but apart from this shows no other signs of being a cockerel, she is rounder than the other one and had rounded tail feathers. Also the neck feathers on the cockerel are pointier and longer. Has any one else had a young girl with a reddish comb.

chicken bark
I have a girl at 15 weeks who is reddening up a lot. I think a photo would be useful.
coco
I will try and het a decent pic of him/her. The cockerel will quite happily stand for the camera, he's a bit of a show off,but he/she is quite nervous and doesn't stand still for long.
