Foxy Loxy
Today, I have had my chickens for 1 week. I let them trot around the garden today. Took the eglu apart and gave it a good scrub. I've never enjoyed cleaning something so much! Anyway, I put it all back together and put it on a new patch of grass. As soon as it was all together, the hens dived into the run and two of them went into the eglu. Half an hour later, I was intrigued and went to look in the eglu and there it was, my first egg. Foxy Loxy
I was made up. I love letting them out. They have found a particular spot for a dust bath.

chocchick
Well done. It's funny, Trinny laid her first egg in about a month after being ill when I reassembled the eglu after cleaning. She was on the nest before I'd even put the top on.
