AlisonH Posted August 8, 2011 Share Posted August 8, 2011 Can anyone tell me how long their chooks take to actually lay an egg. My 2 have only just started laying and they seem to be in the coop for ages. Some times they go out of it and do a bit of pacing up and down then return but it took 1 of them about an hour this morning. Do they get quicker as they get better at it or is this normal? Thanks !
