redfrock Posted June 7, 2007 Share Posted June 7, 2007 one of the girls has started to peck the eggs. every night when I come home I find at least one of the eggs is cracked, normally with a beak sized hole in it. They haven't gone through the membrane so they are not eating the egg but I don't know how to stop it. We are having to throw quite a few of our home grown eggs away because of it. Any ideas? Someone on here once suggested blowing an egg and filling it with mustard, chilli and black pepper. When the chicken tastes that concoction, it should put them off!
