kissinuk
Our 3 girls have been with us about 3 weeks now after the Eglu was sitting empty for several months. One of them (Light Sussex) soon started pushing her weight around with the Coucou being next and finally the Amber. However, today just before they went to bed the Coucou and the Sussex were running at each other barging one another with their chests. Never seen this before, has the Coucou maybe decided she has a chance to be top girl? Is this normal? They are all POL but none of them are laying yet. bouldercroft
I saw this a few times when I introduced new hens - I think it's pretty common even though it looks kinda scary...
jennym
Yep, two of mine did this for a while. Just sorting out the pecking order, I expect. It can change around bit as they come into lay.
