Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hi

can anyboldy help? I am trying to replace the black lid locking bar in my eglu classic as the existing one has snapped! Omlet say that I just need to pull it out and push the new one in place but I have spent the last 2 hours trying to pull or push it out. There is quite a lot of play in it, it moves about 4 inches but won;t budge further than than. Help!

If you take the shell off you'll see a couple screws inside the eglu attaching the front face to the tray, theres also a couple on the bottom of the front face at inside the big holes. Try unscrewing those and then its as easy as they say!

I assumed the flat black bar at the bottom of the classic that keeps the shell in place with the lynch pin?

Ooh - I was going ask because my eggport door handle is very loose

yes you remove the front from the base by removing the two long screws, loosen them carefully as its easy to wreck the cross slots on the top then you are stuck!
