welovemarmite
Need a bit of advice. My step daughter is 10 and will be 11 when the miscual will be in our area next year. Now her mother has allowed her to watch programmes and films that are way too old for her..... such as csi and that sort of stuff. Well I was wondering whether she would be old enought to go to the musical. I am rather stricter than her mum.... so not quite sure.... I think she knows all the adult themes that are in there and would really like to take her to a musical theatre, not seen anything else that she might like! LolaLayla
Would the theatre be able to give you an idea of age suitability? I think it would possibly be ok given the type of programmes they watch and also a lot of things go over children's heads anyway. It is only recently that I have realised that some pop songs I sang when I was younger had some quite risqué lyrics

majuka
I went to see this for a friend's hen do. I don't recall any swear words in it. There are sexual references in it, such as when Lisa tells Baby she is going to sleep with Robbie. She goes to his room and they are on the stage, clearly on a bed but with the duvet over them. Obviously in the film you also see Baby and Johnny in bed. I can't remember exactly how they got around that in the musical. I don't remember any nudity / semi nudity but it is a theme than runs through it, just as it does in the film. I hope where you see it they have more comfortable seats than when we saw it in London
