Take part in study on PFAS 'forever chemicals' in eggs

I have the feeder that comes with the Eglu Go but every time I go to clean it out it seems a nightmare to get the lid off and I end up with very sore fingers from the plastic clip bits on the edges.

 

Anyone got any tips that would help -what am I doing wrong??

You're not doing anything wrong. My feeder is the same. I gave up in the end, not I just use a metal dish or a feeder that looks like this:

I had a go for a while and gave up on the feeder and drinker, I think they are poorly designed to be honest. The drinker is even worse as my chickens ended up sitting in it and getting the water filthy. I wanted everything to match so bought the eglu classic feeder and drinker, they are much better and I prefer them to the traditional feeders, just my opinion.

Glad it's not just me then. Yes my chooks get into the drinker too and it ends up filthy.

And then it gets too heavy, dips and pours water everywhere . Nope not just you. Maybe other people have better behaved chicken

I use the drinkers for food!!

I have the same problem with mine too but I have a yellow Go and they dont make yellow feeders and drinkers for the Classic.So I ended up buying orange ones . They don't match but the yellow /orange scheme works quite well.

Not in the walk in run. But make sure covered area of eglu run etc they dont chuck it out funnily. Might be deep scoping sides

funnily enough I've been desperate to buy an Eglu GO feeder and drinker for the malays but they don't sell them separately in the shop
