Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

I'm trying to use the marketplace but I can't seem to search by proximity - am I doing something wrong?

Yes I did, but the list of birds for sale was nationwide and there didn't seem to be any way to sort by distance?

I've never used it but have had a go to see if I can help . Are you looking at the map when you type in your postcode? When I do that, green markers show up round the area I live in.

Yes, the map was to the left of the postcode box and when I tried to click on anyone near me it gave me a list of what was available for sale. I clicked on one of the listings (for orpingtons) and the list at the bottom gave me every orp available rather than the one I clicked on?

 

I'm in Glasgow and there seems to be a dearth of hens around here

I wonder if it's because there's none for sale near you?

 

Have you looked at the Omlet Breeders list? I can vouch for George Ogilvie.

 

Neither of them are that close to you but you could try Eddie Lovatt or have a read through this thread on Scottish breeders.
