hammy72
I have had a red top fly trap hanging the garden since mid-July when my girls arrived. It's just about ready to be emptied so I am thinking about getting another one. However, I am concious of the smell and that my neighbours can smell it. I am looking for a low odour one for over the autumn/winter when they'll be fewer flies about. Anyone got any suggestions?
LolaLayla
My fly trap pongs too I hope to take it down soon and put up another(hopefully less smelly type next year.) The flies only seem to be about in the summer.
squiffs
I think they all smell like that, because that's the sort of smell that attracts flies... I wouldn't think your neighbours can smell it unless you've got it right near their side of the garden? mine is very central to the garden and you only get a waft of it when you're maybe a few metres away or a strong wind blows your way.
