sage
I have a mass of beetroot at the moment so pickling this weekend. But what to do with the all the leaves. The chickens go mad for them so I was thinking they can have a bunch and the rest I could try drying them in the oven and use a winter supplement / treat. Also there is a field near me with loads of dandelions, my girls love them. Anyone tried this? Sage
Olly
It's been a good year for beetroot! My girls love the leaves, I'd just feed them to them fresh. I'm not sure if they'd eat them dried?
