Bramble
Well, I picked up three new ex-batts yesterday (had three eggs from them today too ) I'm just a bit concerned about one of them, she seems much quieter than the other two, nothing obviously wrong with her, so maybe she's just a bit more traumatised? Have given her some nutridrops, which she didn't appreciate and she was feisty enough then, am I worrying unnecessarily?
Space Chick
I had one like that she was very "shell shocked" the first few days... A week in she's a different girl and has today become best mates with one of my Silkies
Bramble
Thank you, I'm really hoping that's the case here, the other two seem to have taken to their new life like ducks to water (or should that be chickens to grass?) but poor little casserole does seem a bit shell shocked, as you say. Hope she's ok
Space Chick
As long as she is eating and drinking, I wouldn't worry too much... The first few days can be very very daunting.. Poor babies.
counturchickens
Perhaps she understands her name us casserole
Bramble
Thanks, she's having a scratch about in the grass at the moment, I guess they're not used to having anything to do in the cages. Do feel a bit guilty about their names (the other two are korma and curry ) but they seem to suit them ...
