beach chick
Arthur was 'done' on Tuesday, and I just looked at his undercarriage this morning as I was putting him in the run. vet nurse said to make sure he wasnt too swollen - well all I can says is "grapple me grape-nuts"! surprised he can walk actually. but we are back for a check-up tomorrow and he is moving/eating/drinking so I guess he's ok. seriously I am confused. he still appears to have 2 testicles and for some reason I thought they would be removed (like cats and dogs). but he still has his, and has to be kept apart from Ruby for 40 days, so the process is actually a vasectomy I assume? beach chick
I am SO glad I didnt phone up and demand to know why my rabbit still appeared to have testicles... went for check up today and she explained that altho they are removed, post-op the body fills the sacs with fluid. so as the swelling reduces so will the, um, appendages
LolaLayla
I will be prepared when my boy goes for his op. I have had rabbits neutered in the past but could not remember how they looked.
