Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

It looks from the picture as if the heel will be enclosed.

I have some "proper" clogs my mum brought back from Holland. they are brown leather uppers with a wooden sole. I wear them all year round, in winter I just don a pair of aran-sweater type socks, & then I don't feel the cold on my heels.

Maybe but I have my winter footwear sorted too, Timberland. For weekends the regular style boots for weekedays I have Chelsea boots which are dead smart. Like walking in slippers and impossible to wear out!

 

For info DS (5 next week) also has a pair of Timberland school shoes, we bought them because they were the only ones he tried that were waterproof. We bought them last September - I have a kid that doesn't grow and he is still wearing them. They are still waterproof and when they look worn that just means they need a polish and then they look like new again!

 

We liked them so much we got him Timberland sandals, they cost the same as the Clarks ones but don't look cheap and tatty after a week!
