Nacktschnecken omlet Cube

I have a free ranging (back garden) reverse Sussex that has now not been laying for a couple of months. She is 18months old, recently wormed, not moulting and not laying elsewhere.

 

Are there any 'tricks' to bring her back into lay ? I read about keeping her under an old apple crate (who has those these days) during the day for a few days - does that work ?

I have an ordinary buff Sussex, her laying is definitely tailing off...she didn't lay through last winter so am assuming that she is 'shutting down' for a rest!

 

If in doubt I always give a bit of poultry spice..it perks up the Laying ladies and boosts the non laying girls making them all look more sprightly
