Tumbleweed
I have two aylesbury ducks which I've had from 10 days old. We're starting to get eggs - two per day and each a different colour ie one is white and one is bluish. Neither has the drake curl on the tail. The quacks are different and one is trying to mate with the other (although it prefers to grab the others neck from the side of the pool and push her down whilst wriggling on the side of the pool) So, my question is do I have a male and female or do I have two girls?? Can ducks have different coloured eggs? Also many of the white eggs are double yolked - I believe this is normal in younger birds? Will she stop laying over winter? Thanks for your help.
