bouldercroft
....when it's a chicken coop!!!! Josie has built her own nest under the gas bbq - now I'm convinced they are all laying somewhere else at times - apart from Lovely Rita who last night for the FIFTH time this year went broody again photo by jewilk71, on Flickr photo by jewilk71, on Flickr

zakjon-98
I have a hen that lays everywhere too. I quite enjoy the egg hunt everyday!
bouldercroft
I've also discovered that there is an opening under the farmers porch and I'm sure they are sneaking in there to lay too. So I've blocked it off... I'm on a mission to get these girls to pay me their rent directly....

bouldercroft
Love her little nest building efforts that's just so sweet. I saw her go under the BBQ cover and thought....hmmm whats going on there. I lifted it up and there she was sitting on two of her eggs. I shooed her away but she didn't go far and started picking up leaves and things throwing them on her back - she's clearly looking for a new place to lay. Crazy chickens!
