Smileygem Posted October 5, 2011 Share Posted October 5, 2011 Hi When i got home today and let out our two hens I noticed one was very hunched up and obviously not ok. She wasn't walking properly. She then laid a bloody egg with a membrane but no shell and then another 10 minutes later with no membrane either. After that she perked up although I did see her stood with her eyes closed which is also odd. She seems ok now but any ideas of the problem. We normally get an egg a day although a few months ago she didn't lay for a few days then laid a soft egg. But she was perky and ok not like just now. She seems absolutely fine today though, no egg but Im not expecting one for the next few days after the other day so I will hopefully get some over the weekend.
