Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hello

 

I joined the forum when I first got chickens, read a lot but never posted. Totally forgot my user name and typical as soon as I joined again found my original name.

 

Anyway just wanted to introduce my 2 new girls,as yet nameless, who arrived yesterday.

 

 

 

They have joined Marley who we have only had 3weeks and Ruby who was one of our original girls 3 years ago. For us putting the all in together on the first night has worked really well and here they are in the run together this afternoon

when you highlight it, omit the first and last bit (IMG) and it works a treat .

I think the problems are because you are a new member, because of all the spam we have been getting new members cant post links until they notch up some posts

Mmmm, new member, 2008 not really that new, or would it be number of posts?, which is pretty feeble. It's not letting me do a sig or avatar either.

Yes its based on the number of posts, the signature and avatar are also connected to that. I say 'new member' because regardless of whenever someone joined if they havent posted much then they are still effectively new

 

the mimimum post count is because spammers were adding links to posts, signatures and their logo etc... and as this is one of the most spam free forums around I have to say its worth it even if its a small inconvenience to new members

 

Take a look around the forum and participate in some threads and you will get your post count up very quickly
