Cinnamon
My sister in law phoned me today to tell me about her new Omlet chickens. She ordered a Pepperpot & a Gingernut, but they were out of stock of the Gingernuts, so gave her a third breed instead. She couldn't remember what it was called, but it is a very pretty hen with a whiteish neck & head, shading into silver grey & black. Apparantly Omlet don't send them out very often, but do you think they are introducing a third beed to their repotoire? Anu idea what breed it is.....I will try to post a picture if I can
Nicola H
It could be a speckled star or Speckeldy, I think some other people have got this breed recently........
Jules
Hi Yes she sounds like our speckledy, Margot, we got her from omlet 3 weeks ago. I am very pleased with her and seems very friendly.

Cate in NZ
Speckledys are gorgeous . Mines not an Omlet bird, we got her from a local breeder, but she's beautiful, fat, placid, pretty stupid, loves food, especially treats, very tame and a fantastic egg layer. Approx 13 eggs a fortnight . You're right to want one . She's very pretty too, with a splendid comb.

SarahJo
I'm not allowed one - Debs very rightly pointed out that three's a crowd!..... don't tell that to Ebony then . She is now fully accepted and integrated into Ginger and Mrs Snowys club, and they all eat together and bathe together now ... .
