westie mum Posted October 27, 2011 Share Posted October 27, 2011 Have to say I would never stay in a Travelodge again, we stayed at one in Hertfordshire last week when we went to visit our daughter. The place was very dark and dingy and needed a serious update. There was no main light in the bedroom and the place needed a good hoovering and there was a strange chemically smell in there. Getting to sleep was a nightmare as we couldn't stop itching, there was also doors slamming all night long and people talking top of their voices in the corridors. We have told them how dissatisfied we were with our stay but as yet heard nothing from them. Hope you enjoy your stays and don't have the misfortune to stay in a room like we did.
