mao
Agatha is eating well, laying well, active and alert however, her underside feathers have 'worn away' and look as if she's moulting and the skin is red and warm. She isn't losing feathers from anywhere else. She does sleep in the nesting box sometimes. Any suggestions as to what I should do? Thanks. Egghead68
When they go broody they can pluck out their underside feathers and feel very warm. Have they been broody recently?
mao
Hi, thanks for the responses. No, Agatha isn't broody nor does she seem to be plucking her own feathers!! She seems fine in every other way. Any other suggestions?
