jacquie879
Hi A carpenter friend is going to build my run for me though he has never done one before & I keep thinking of new ideas for it having looked at all the wonderful WIR photos on here. I am going to put a roof on the run but was wondering about the best, long lasting option though it is at the bottom of out garden so doesnt need to be too fantastic looking... not a conservatory. The WIR is a strange shape - a long elongated triangle. Thanks Jacquie
Plum
I've got corrugated pvc panels fixed to a wood frame and its working very well you'd be able to cut to shape. It doesn't give shade from full sun in summer though so then I hang a shade under it. Gentle slope, lots of support (less than 3ft apart) and get him to put a gutter along the lower edge
Ain't Nobody Here
I've got corrugated plastic sheets on mine - not sure how you'd get them to fit on a triangle though . There are a few closeups of my roof in my signature link.
