surfer_chicken
Willow is the only one of the chooks I hatched this summer which I kept. Her two sisters (which went to a friend) started laying over a month ago, but finally Willow has started laying three days ago I haven't got to try one yet as they have all been soft so far. The first one was found by Lily and Mildred first and eaten , the second had a spilt in it so I didn't want to risk it, and the third was just a yolk inside a soft shell. I'm hoping she'll get it right today though! So proud of her Fingers crossed the new ex batts start laying again soon as well Edited January 1, 2012 by Guest

surfer_chicken
Another soft one yesterday/today. The first one was laid at midday, but since then they've all been at night.
