Went to a wonderful Poultry Centre a few days ago...just for a wander around...like you do and these 2 Pekin poppets told us that they wanted to come home with us so how could we refuse? Seriously though, they were just what I'd been looking for

 

 

The place was The Barns Poultry Centre in Moggerhanger, Bedfordshire. The chap there really knew his stuff and I learnt an awful lot in the hour or so we were there The place itself was beautifully clean and all the chickens looked very well cared for and very healthy and happy

 

I highly recommend a visit!...but beware...you may not have the same number of passengers in the car on the return journey home!

Gorgeous girls, I wouldn't have been able to resist either. Fortunately, I live far enough away to make it a prohibitive visit.

Pumpkin's on the left and Humbug on the right...she has a slight 'bah humbug' look about her and they both have black markings on their tail feathers...Humbug's are more pronounced so I thought of the humbug sweets There's also an association with Pekins and a 'bah humbug' attitude for me too

OOOOoooooo pretty girls love them, want them,love little pekins such cute little characters,I have a black one BBQ and she is a right bossy boots and rushes around everywhere and loves a cuddles really really need some more pekins me thinks lol love your pretty girls
