Redwing
Cheshire Poultry sell hatching eggs (a google will bring up their site) the eggs are more highly priced than most but the Silkies are good quality What part of the UK do you live in? I know several people with Silkies around the Uk

craftyhunnypie
I want some more silkies too. Lost one to a predator ( buzzard I think) the other week. Lost another today to old age ( dead in the nest). So I've only got 2 left. One gold cockerel & one white hen. Poor loves. Think silkies will be next on my hatch list. Black silkies & maybe cuckoo, partridge or blue. They are all lovely. Or I might try to source some locally - along with a new coop. craftyhunnypie
My 2 remaining silkies have been at it. SO I've popped 3 eggs into the incubator. I know 3 isn't many at all, but if I'd waited for 6 then they would have been past their best - as Basehunter is not a reliable layer at the moment! Fingers crossed I get something.
