I've been waiting a long time for Florence to lay her first egg. She's a Columbine so I've had the suspense of whether I'll find a blue, green or brown egg.....but she has now layed two that are white. I didn't think they did white eggs! Or maybe she hasn't learnt to do the coluring in yet and they'll change colour?!

I'd guess she is one of the unlucky ones if not then as they usually start laying blue/green

If they don't lay blue/green eggs, they lay a pale or tinted egg. Unlikely to be 'brown'. It does sound like hers. I've had a columbine lay an off white egg, and one who laid a pinky egg.
