I don't think different colours are different heights, I've got three gold hens and a blue partridge pullet. She's going to be just as big as the golds. I haven't got an eglu so I'm not much use to you :lol:

 

They're easy to handle in that they don't move very fast so are easy to catch :lol: The girls I've reared from chicks love their cuddles but one girl I adopted last year from a retiring breeder hadn't been used to being handled and given the choice she'd prefer not to be. My blue partridge has been very ill and has my garden all to herself, she's not strong enough to cope with the rough and tumble of my main chicken run. She comes running when she hears the back door open and literally throws herself into my arms :lol: She does a little dance for me too :lol:
