She's going to be just as big as the golds. I haven't got an eglu so I'm not much use to you They're easy to handle in that they don't move very fast so are easy to catch The girls I've reared from chicks love their cuddles but one girl I adopted last year from a retiring breeder hadn't been used to being handled and given the choice she'd prefer not to be. My blue partridge has been very ill and has my garden all to herself, she's not strong enough to cope with the rough and tumble of my main chicken run. I did have 2 chickens from omlet but one died last week so I got two new chickens and one is a brahma but didn't read up on the breed first and have only just realised she's going to be quite big!
