Green make-up

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else come across BellaPierre make-up?

There is a stall in the Crawley shopping centre selling the products. They are all natural, mineral based products and I'm afraid, even in my financially-drained circumstances, I bought some foundation.

So far I am impressed with it as it seems to cover my blemishes incredibly, so that even I can't see them. It also seems to last the day well. The pot (it's a powder) cost £25 (special offer) but they told me it would last 9 months.

I have just looked at their website www.bellapierre.com and it doesn't seem to be up and running yet.

Anyone else tried the products?

Is there a website Laura?

I have some Green People Organic lipstick, which I quite like, but I'm not sure it stays on very long. But it is so difficult finding kind-to-the-skin, green make-up. I was really pleased to see this in Crawley.

Here Ginette:

This is their website for the US but it gives lots of info - I buy from QVC ( always a good idea for a new product as you can send it back within 30 days if it doesn't suit you).

Dont think all their products are *green* though  but no ingredients or products are tested on animals

I bought a mineral foundation a few weeks ago....I think its by L'Oreal or someone.

It really is remarkable stuff, isn't it?

I never really wear foundation except for special occassions as I hate feeling "clogged", but this mineral stuff is light & covers amazingly well.

I will certainly look into your green one,Ginette (although green isn't really my colour :lol: )

Don't you have to wear green if you have very rosy cheeks?

I don't wear foundation - just lipstick. I used to use Beauty Without Cruelty until the wholefood shop stopped selling it and i couldn't buy it direct.

I'll go and check out the site you posted Ginette and see if they do lipstick.

Thank you Laura!!! :D

I found a site a couple of years ago but they did all sorts of things and had a standard postage of £4 - fine if you've ordered all your groceries but not for one lipstick :? I did complain to them and they refunded my postage - I just wante d a bit of discretion if they were only posting a small item.

Both the colour I use and the one my Mum uses are still available :D

The colours on their chart are extremely suspect though :?
