Sue and the Spice Girls
Well done to Jan on her first egg! My first was today too, bit was a soft one, I couldn't understand why Clove wouldn't come out of the cube this morning so i went to check and she was just sitting on the bars and didn't move when I opened up, I picke her up to see what was wrong.......and there on the droppings tray was her first egg, broken but complete with yolk. Here's to the next one with a proper shell. PS anyone know how to show a green cube in thier signature?
beach chick
well done that chicken! she'll get the hang of it properly soon I'm sure. Tara has been laying for just over a week and is an old hand at it now. Paris laid her first yesterday (only 40g but perfect) but she was in there for HOURS, and has been in for at least 2 hours this morning! Edited to add: stop press, just popped out to have a look, and there's Paris' 2nd - still only a 40g, but lovely all the same.
