CharLeila
Hi, Im due to move near Northallerton and am looking for a supplier of layers pellets in the area. I currently feed my girls on Heygates but I phoned their mill this morning and they only supply as far north as Lincoln. Going to stock up before the move i think! Thanks
alet_chicken
This place in Thirsk sells Marriages. Not sure how close that would be for you.
CharLeila
Thank you very much, think this will be my new chicken supply shop! What about buying POL hens in the area?
purple hen
Hi, we have our caravan near Northallerton, and I stock up on a lot of my chicken supplies at Sam Turner & sons Ltd which is on the A167 Darlington Rd on the outskirts of Northallerton. They are a farm and garden supplier and have all sorts of useful stuff. They have spillers pellets and big bales of bedding,we have always found them helpful and reasonably priced. My last lot of pol came from Glencroft poultry near Catterick and we would certainly go there again if we were buying any more.
CharLeila
Thanks for the info. Went to Glencroft yesterday but "Ooops, word censored!"ody was about. Will phone in future as it is about 20 mins away from where we live. Managed to find a country store with layers pellets and chickeny bits in today in the same village as our house. BONUS! No need to drive miles to get the girls their grub, can literally walk around the corner to get it!
purple hen
I seem to remember that Glencroft is only open at weekends, or by arrangement during the week.
