Parsley
Jezabel, my chamois Thuringian, had her bath today ready for the Reading show at the weekend. She is a gorgeous girl, but of course I'm biased , but her comb is a little on the large side and flops a wee bit at the top of the serrations. Any tips on keeping it up, so to speak , for the show. What I need to be able to do is starch her comb, hairspray her beard and use some hair gel on some of her wayward feathers
Redwing
I don't think there is much you can do with the comb I'm afraid Feathers that stick out can 99% of the time fall back in to place if you run your hand through the feathers, they tend to find their correct place. Springy feathers can be tamed by spraying some hairspray on your finger tips and just touching the very tip of the feather, the hairspray will weigh it down (don't use too much though!)
