AJuff
Since OH bought me a trollbead bracelet and beads for our 20th anniversary I have been hooked on buying more charms. As they have built up I have decided to buy a trollbeads jewellery box. When searching online I came across a lovely white box with rods for $75 (£46.57) in a USA store. It's not available in the UK until April at a cost of £75 ($119.18). Is our uk tax so high or do America get cheaper imports?????? When I went on to look at beads, everything is significantly cheaper than here in the UK. I think I'll send a shopping list to my cousin who's coming over in May!!! snowberry
Everything seems to be so much cheaper over there. Especially gadgets or any kind of high value goods
yvonne
I think it's a combination of taxes, shipping costs and sales volumes - lots of stuff seems to be cheaper over there - boo.
TAJ
I bought Cumberland artist pencils - half the price from US - even with customers, still cheaper. Made in the UK, sent to US, purchased by me and sent back to the UK!! Madness.
