Angie Posted February 25, 2012 Share Posted February 25, 2012 I have been battling nasties for 5 weeks ( lice /mites ) and the ladies haven't been laying during all this time. I have used DE for a month and done regular deep cleaning, but whatever has been bothering my girls persisted and they stopped laying. Not red mite i must stress But after a week following the first spraying with the nettex spray, my girls look happier, are not pre occupied with their tail feathers or lack of them, there skin looks calmer and healthier , even signs of new feathers And today 3 eggs, I have drug allergies so erring on the side of caution am withdrawing the eggs, such a shame but can't be helped . Roll on next week following the second treatment and loss of more lovely eggs. Just so nice to see my girls happy and back in lay , only 2 to start laying and all 5 will be back.
