Cinnamon
I love these cheerful little flowers & it seems I buy a few more pots of them each year & plant them out But I have noticed that in their second year they grow barely 2 inches tall, then flower They still look sweet, but I would love to know what I can do the get then to continue to grow to their proper height. Cinnamon
Yes,that would be great if I were organised enough I always get sucked in to the 'pay & display' ones you see around this time of year (plus I can NEVER remember where I planted bulbs already)

Guest
I have them in flower atm and love them. I notice that they are taller where the chicken poo went over the summer!

chickencam
I think that they do better if you seprate them after flowering then replant where you want them. I have just bought 4 pots to brighten up the planter by my front door. I love daffodils, they are a real beacon of spring.
the Lurker
I gave in and bought a little pot of these from Waitrose the other month, cheered up the house nicely When they died back I decided to use the pot for something else and so just dug up the bulbs, pulled the dead stuff off and put them in a cupboard for next year. Is there a way of keeping bulbs good? No signs of mold or anything yet, but better safe than sorry! Should I just pop them back in a pot later in the Autumn in preparation for next year? Should I keep them watered from then till spring time?
