lillybettybabs
As more as i love my little Foggy he seems to be causing a mass of destruction due to NOT being a normal svelte and agile as cats should be. He has smashed my favorite candle holder. My rose vase now in bits. He has rendered or bathroom sink unusable by falling in it and cracking it making a hole. Spilled tea all down my dressing gown whilst preforming a simple jump. Ran into me at high speed whilst playing whilst i was carrying plates smashing them. gone into the cupboard where his food is kept and knock over the rice packet. He is only 5mnths old. Redwing
My kitten is not as bad but she is supposed to be very elegant, beautiful and light on her feet In reality she is like a sack of spuds when she jumps on/off anything, is very ugly and scowls and sighs all the time
The Dogmother
Oh, but he is sooo gorgeous Karen, even when he's showing off to me! I think we need a photo of Foggy How on earth did he break the bathroom basin? I take it that OH isn't amused....?
lillybettybabs
OH isn't amused as he now has to fit a new one . OH heard a clatter but didn't go to look as it was normal for Foggy. I went to wash my hands and noticed one of my vases in the sink (still in-tacked) , I took it out and carried on filling the sink up. Water started poring out of the back! I wonder if the do third party insurance for cat.
The Dogmother
If you have accidental damage on your insurance you can claim... just don't mention the cat he's only tiny too.

freddie
I had this happen with one of mine, yrs ago, she jumped on top of the bathroom cabinet, knocked off a bottle of shampoo into the loo... took down the kitchen ceiling. I had bought the house and moved in three days before!! It was an Avocado suite... Remember them I went to the tip, and got a new lav for £37.... Ceiling was more... Gertie
Maybe it's something about small cats. Mine has smashed plant stands, numerous egg skelters full of eggs, picture frames and she's always falling off the window sill!!!
The Dogmother
I think it's more to do with norty kittens Biscuit was a REALLY norty kitten and tried my patience endlessly.. we had a 6ft Christmas tree down, curtains climbed, legs climbed, things smashed... good job that they are so lovable otherwise.... I think that the poor cat was convinced that his name was 'NO!' nowadays he's like a furry slug, sleeping on my bed and only getting up to eat, toilet or hunt, then he's back for more sleep. Life of Riley!
lillybettybabs
We have spent the day hunting for a replacement sink but they seem to have discontinued So it look like i'll be tiling around the new sink now.
The Dogmother
What a pain! Have you tried Farthinghoe tip? Last time I looked they had a whole load of bathroom basins there to one side... they could just have the one you need *shrugs*. Besides... who needs an excuse to firtle around all their recycling? lillybettybabs
They didn't have any that would fit , I have found some mosaic tiles in the attic that i can use as a splash back so it doesn't have to exact now. Maybe i'll try free cycle etc.
