2009 Omlet cube and run for sale

Hi,

we have sadly lost our 2 chickens and we are going to have a little time before we get some more. In the mean time though I thought I would give some thought to the run as we would like 3 chickens next time. Currently we have an eglu and standard run. There isn't enough room to put on an extension and still open the run door. I know you can alter it to open on the side with a bit of DIY but i don't think there is even quite enough for the extension itself. So i was wondering about making an extension to fit out of wood and weldmesh. Any hints, tips, pics ideas?

Its getting the curve right at the end of the run thats problematic

 

There is a square panel that you can fit to the run to 'marry' it up to an Omlet walk in run, you could use that panel as your basis for a taller square extension thats shorter than the normal one and then you can put a door on the side of that

Oooh thats a good idea. I am reasonably handy with DIY but curves would be tricky - the panel would be ideal.
