We stayed in a little one bed cottage near Harwood Dale (just inland from Scarborough). We can thoroughly recommend the beaches at Filey, Scarborough and Robin Hoods Bay. Stunning. We had the pooch so all our visits were outside but I can also advise a trip to Castle Howard. We also drove across to Bolton Abbey which was well worth it as the scenery and ruins are amazing.
