There was a programme I used to watch in the early 90's. It was hosted by a chap who I think first name was Tim. He had straight black hair. He presented a travel type history type show, but was fast paced and had lots of unusual info in it about various places in the UK. I think it was on BBC2, or it could have been on a Freeview channel. I just can't remember. Does it ring any bells? Hope it does as an searches I do, don't bring anything up that resembles it

Can you think of anything a bit more specific, like a particular item that was on it ? Doesn't ring any bells at the moment

Well, he basically went for these walks, and along the way he talked about the history of the areas he was walking through. It tended to be places in the UK, but I think he may have gone to Spain, or abroad in the Med. I could be making that bit up though

Was it "Two's Country" which was presented by Tim Grundy? There are some clips of it on You Tube and it looks like the programme that sprang to my mind when I read your query. According to the Tim Grundy entry on Wikipedia there were several other "Two's Country ... " series including "Two's Country Spain".

Thank you. That is indeed him. I didn't realise he died though Such a shame. He was a good presenter and loved his programmes. Glad my brain can rest on that matter now, as it has been bugging me for ages
