MissPug+Chooks
6 months after I rescued by chicken of fate Polly I've decided to re-home her. Some of you will have read my endless threads about feather pecking and bullying and today Polly stripped another chicken bare. Such a sad decision but unfortunately I can't keep allowing her to do this to my original girls and she is limiting we from expanding the flock... I hope I am making the right decision xx
lindafw
my guess is she needs a large flock where there are lots of strong minded hens
MissPug+Chooks
Yep for sure - I guess I should be happy that I rescued her in the first place and got her to full health ready for her next stepping stone.....x
Chicken shack
If you could get a cockeral that would sort her out and put her in her place. You have to do what is best for your situation. Good luck.
jomeena
Hi, I had the same problem with one of my girls 2 years ago. She is now very happy living with a larger group and a rooster. Plus my remaining girls are much happier now. Good luck
