CharLeila Posted April 8, 2012 Share Posted April 8, 2012 Hi everyone, My wife has been accepted into Uni in Cambridge but I have just been posted to North Yorkshire with the RAF. We are looking for a room to rent, prefereably in a family home for under £300 per month. She would only be there Mon - Fri and would be out all day at Uni. Any help much appreciated. Looney Posted April 8, 2012 Share Posted April 8, 2012 Well done to your wife! We live in Ely which is 15 miles (ish) from Cambridge but there is a regular train service. Only real downside is it is a good walk from Cambridge station to the centre. Does she ideally want Cambridge itself? We can't offer a room ourselves (plus it is a total mad house here, not great for trying to study!) but I'll keep my ears and eyes open. Where in N. Yorks are you going?
